Woodstock Meet & Greet - August 09 2009

Today was a wonderful day for meeting and greeting at the Woodstock Meet & Greet.

We had 8 hounds today!!

• Heidi and Boo brought Mary and Barry
• Roz and Jessee brought Jeanna
• Kane, Dewey, Rusty, and Star brought Van and Susan

We met lots of great people and told everyone about the Athletes Helping Athletes - 2nd annual 5k run (www.active.com Event ID 1723220).

Marietta Wine Market - Dog Day Afternoon

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st (2:00- 4:00pm) Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market. “Dog Day Afternoon”

Since the boys will be making an appearance, they have been reading up on the Kendall Jackson line of Dog House Wines which will be served. Dewey thinks that the Merlot is the way to go. Kane thinks that if you are going to pay, it should be for the Chardonnay.

Each time a bottle of this wine is purchased nationwide, fifty cents of the purchase price goes toward a fund to provide e seeing eye dogs for the blind, so they think that Van and I should stock up while we are there.
